The quality of the selection of research proposals and Community Service (PKM) of lecturers is an important element in supporting the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education. However, the selection process that is still carried out manually and tends to be subjective has the potential to cause bias in decision-making. This research aims to develop a decision support system that integrates the Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) methods to increase objectivity and efficiency in the selection process of research proposals and PKM lecturers at Rokania University. The MOORA method is used to determine a preference score based on the five main criteria for research proposals and six main criteria for PKM proposals, while the DEA method is utilized to evaluate the relative efficiency of each proposal based on the ratio between the MOORA score and the amount of funding submitted. The data used in this study was obtained from the results of the assessment of three reviewers on 14 research proposals and 11 PKM proposals. Each proposal is assessed based on criteria that have been determined by LPPM, then calculations are carried out using both methods. The results show that the combination of MOORA and DEA methods is able to produce more transparent and fair proposal rankings, as well as being able to identify the most efficient proposals in the use of the budget. This study concludes that the integration of MOORA and DEA methods in the lecturer proposal selection system is able to strengthen data-based research and PKM governance, as well as make a real contribution to more rational and measurable decision-making. This system also has the potential to be further developed to support the selection of external grants, recruitment of reviewers, or the allocation of research funds nationally. These findings can be replicated in other higher education institutions that face similar challenges.

This study was conducted to provide decision recommendations in choosing a concentration of courses for students based on their academic performance. The problem in this research is how students can choose a course concentration for themselves based on the academic performance they have previously achieved. The selection of this concentration is calculated based on the prerequisite courses that have been previously determined for each concentration of courses using the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis Of Ratio Analysis) method. Each prerequisite course is a criterion that is given a weighting using the Rank Sum weighting technique. The alternatives used in this study were 32 alternatives, all of which were students who had completed all prerequisite courses and would choose a concentration of courses in the coming semester. The results of the implementation of the MOORA method in a decision support system with Rank Sum weighting for each criterion obtained results of 18 students recommended in the Emerging Technology concentration and 14 students recommended in the Software Engineering concentration according to their academic performance. The results of the comparison between decision recommendations with the MOORA method and the questionnaire of concentration choices according to student interests showed a level of conformity of 59.38%. Thus, the decision support system with the MOORA method can provide recommendations for choosing a concentration of courses based on previously achieved academic performance.

The application of the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis) method in employee promotion decisions at PTPN 4 aims to enhance efficiency and objectivity in decision-making. This method allows managers to evaluate employees based on multiple criteria simultaneously, such as performance, experience, contributions, and other relevant factors. By considering these various aspects, MOORA helps make promotion decisions more transparent and fair. One of the primary advantages of applying the MOORA method is its ability to reduce bias that may occur during the promotion process. Bias can arise from subjectivity or imbalance in employee assessments, which are often based on individual judgments or personal perceptions. By using MOORA, promotion decisions are based on more objective and measurable data, making the process more systematic and structured. The MOORA method can also increase employee motivation. A transparent promotion process based on clear criteria provides employees with a strong incentive to continuously improve their performance. When employees know that promotions are based on fair evaluation, they are more motivated to work harder. This, in turn, will increase overall productivity and performance at PTPN 4. The implementation of MOORA at PTPN 4 also provides advantages in better human resource management. With the MOORA-based decision support system, managers can easily identify employees who have the best potential for promotion. This process involves several steps, such as data normalization, determining criteria weights, and calculating final values that reflect overall employee performance. The end result is the selection of employees who meet the qualifications and have outstanding performance for promotion, supporting the sustainable development of the organization.

The economy that is happening in Indonesia is not balanced because of the large economic disparity between one region and another, this can be seen clearly from the uneven income of the people and the poverty problems that occur in terms of clothing, food and shelter. The community has the right to get proper clothing, food and shelter for the sake of creating a prosperous society. If one of them is still not fulfilled, then prosperity will not be achieved. To realize this, the government has held various poverty reduction programs, one of which is in the form of social funds provided to the poor. Problems that often occur in determining the eligibility of receiving assistance. The assessment process of the beneficiary community in Tuhtuhan Village is not yet perfect, only covering the type of work, total income, number of dependents and age. This method of assessment is subjective, which can lead to social jealousy for those who do not accept it. From the above problems, it can be solved by utilizing computer technology to create a Decision Support System (DSS). One of them is by using the Moora method. The MOORA (Multi Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis) method is applied to solve many economic, managerial and construction problems. math formula calculations with exact results

  • A S Y Bin-Habtoor + 1 more

The convergence of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally reshaping industrial maintenance paradigms. This research presents a comprehensive framework for advanced predictive maintenance (PdM) that leverages IoT sensors for real-time condition monitoring and AI-driven analytics for intelligent failure forecasting. The study addresses the critical challenge of selecting the optimal predictive model from a set of alternatives, each with varying strengths in key performance indicators such as cost savings, uptime, failure rate, and implementation time. To navigate this multi-criteria decision-making problem objectively, this paper employs the MOORA (Multi-Objective Optimization on the Basis of Ratio Analysis) method. The MOORA technique provides a robust, mathematically sound mechanism to rank competing AI models based on their aggregate performance across both beneficial and non-beneficial criteria. Our analysis utilizes a real-world dataset simulating the operational parameters of industrial equipment. The findings demonstrate that the proposed IoT-AI-MOORA hybrid approach effectively identifies the most balanced and advantageous predictive maintenance model. The results indicate a clear ranking, with one model (Model E) emerging as superior, achieving the highest score due to its exceptional cost-saving potential and low failure rate. This work concludes that integrating systematic multi-criteria decision-making tools like MOORA with technical IoT and AI solutions is essential for organizations seeking to implement truly optimized, data-driven, and cost-effective predictive maintenance strategies.
