Abstract
Un des pinakes provenant de la bibliothèque du gymnase de Tauromenion fait de Callisthène d’Olynthe un epistolagraphos d’Alexandre le Grand. Pourtant, le statut et le titre s’avèrent douteux. En revanche, ce qui semble être une erreur du lapicide pourrait nous donner de précieuses informations quant aux origines du Roman d’Alexandre attribué, rappelons-le, au Pseudo-Callisthène.
