Abstract

The growth of data-intensive applications has drastically increased, which initiates the difficulty in handling the big data resources. Storage and processing of the big data is challenge faced by the big-data users, this can be achieved by using a powerful emerging technology called cloud computing. Cloud computing simplifies the above challenges with its high global access storage, but in cloud there is an offloading related issues. By keeping the above mentioned challenges and issues, this paper has proposed a system which handles the data intensive applications and big data from other sources are handled using the cloud and edge computing techniques. To achieve low latency and high response time the offloading decision in the proposed system is made by using the introducing controller in the edge layer as well as in the cloud layer. Mobile cloud computing technology is the combination the cloud computing and the mobile devices by storing and processing the data from mobile device to the cloud. The proposed system achieves the low latency time and high data response time over the traditional local server and provides an effective way to use the mobile cloud technology in big data.
