Abstract Multidisciplinary research addresses complex problems that exceed the scope of single disciplines, but often lacks methodological, theoretical, or goal-based unification. In this paper, I investigate what brings members of data- and technology-intensive multidisciplinary projects together, and what enables them to collaborate effectively and produce valuable scientific outcomes. Drawing on the Haly.Id case study, an agricultural project that aimed at gathering extensive data and developing cutting-edge technologies to manage invasive pests, I propose the concept of ‘data-technology communities’. These are heterogeneous groups of individuals who are not tied by a problem agenda, an adaptive problem space, or a set of practices; rather, they come together by virtue of a common interest in and use of shared data and data collection technologies. Through this common focus, members interact, learn from one another, and collaborate within the delimitations imposed by specific constraints. I further argue that the data-technology community framework provides a useful lens for understanding a growing trend in biological data-intensive research, where the production of large datasets and advanced technologies is often prioritized over critical reflection on their biological purpose and application.

BACKGROUND Human-robot interaction (HRI) and collaboration (HRC) have gained significant attention in the context of advanced production technologies, especially concerning trust and acceptance. However, the investigation of the subjective well-being of operators working with these technologies in manufacturing companies has been largely overlooked. Moreover, previous research mostly relied on a single data-collection method, either quantitative or qualitative, thereby failing to capture a rich picture of their cognitive and affective states. OBJECTIVE This cross-sectional study protocol aims to fill that gap by examining operators’ subjective well-being, considering both cognitive (work-related quality of life and satisfaction with life) and affective (anxiety, depression, and stress) components of those who work with advanced production technologies in manufacturing companies. METHODS We adopt a mixed-method approach, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. Quantitative data will be gathered via a digital survey containing self-report questionnaires assessing operators’ subjective well-being (cognitive and affective), fluency in HRI, and negative attitudes towards advanced production technologies. A path analysis will be performed to explore the multiple mediating roles of fluency in HRI and negative attitudes towards such technologies between cognitive and affective well-being. We further qualitatively investigate the operators’ direct experiences in HRI and HRC using semi-structured audio-recorded interviews. A thematic analysis relying on text-mining techniques will then be conducted to explore operators’ textual data. RESULTS We expect that fluency in HRI may act as a protective factor for operators’ affective well-being while negative attitudes toward advanced production technologies may contribute to the development or worsening of operators’ psychological distress. Additionally, the integrated interpretation of both the quantitative and qualitative data collected will generate a consensus report, which will aim to serve as a practical framework for guiding workplace policies and training programs meant to foster subjective well-being and effective HRI. CONCLUSIONS Embracing one of the fundamental pillars of Industry 5.0—human-centricity—, by detecting potential psychological issues early, organizations can create a workplace that prioritizes the well-being of operators. Early recognition and prevention are crucial to promoting operators’ mental well-being involved in HRI and HRC

The article discusses advanced production technologies as a tool for increasing the efficiency of production processes, ensuring increased competitiveness of production. The article identifies the trends in the dynamics of advanced production technologies being developed and implemented in industry; an analysis of the structure of developed and implemented production technologies was carried out; the main directions for increasing production efficiency through the use of advanced production technologies have been identified; the factors that most hinder the development of advanced production technologies in industry have been identified. Among the research methods used in the article: description, synthesis and analysis, statistical research methods, methods of economic and mathematical modeling, graphical analysis. As a result of the analytical studies, the authors came to the conclusion that the use of advanced production technologies is most reflected in increasing the efficiency of such production and management processes as increased productivity of workers and equipment, compliance with technical standards and regulations, and increased quality of products. Inhibitors to the process of design and implementation of advanced production technologies are the lack of qualifications and competencies of employees of industrial enterprises, the long period of return on investment, and difficulties in implementing integration processes for integrating new technologies into production chains. The authors consider it justified that among subsequent studies in improving this topic, the most popular will be industry sections on new production technologies being designed and operated.

Analysis and Visualization Critical Thinking and Creative Thinking Trends of Research in Science Education Using R Studio

This study aimed to give a thorough overview of how to analyze and visualize creative and critical thinking trends in science education research using the bibliometrics technique. This study is based on 319 papers that were gathered and indexed by Scopus between the years 2002 and 2022 that dealt with critical and creative thinking in scientific education. For bibliometric analysis, we employed R Studio. There is an upsurge in studies on critical and creative thinking tendencies, and some nations have recently investigated critical and creative thinking in science education. Additionally, there is a growing tendency in education that emphasizes the connection between critical and creative thinking in the subject of study covered in this study. Considering the findings of this bibliometric analysis, it thus offers a summary and opportunities for additional research. Development of a Project-Based e-Portfolio for Enhancing Critical and Creative Thinking Skills in Land Pollution and Waste Management Education

Critical and creative thinking skills are the core of 21st century skills that learners must have to face global challenges. The ability to interpret, analyze, evaluate, inference, explanation, self regulation, think fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration can shows the level of their critical and creative thinking ability. The research aims to develop e-portofolio for enchancing the critical and creative thinking ability of 8th level students at Junior High School by soil pollution and waste management education. The research used a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The validity of e-portfolios consists of construct and content validity. The practicality of e-portfolios was assessed based on student response questionnaires. The effectiveness of the e-portfolio was assessed through a test designed to measure their critical and creative thinking skills. After the e-portfolio trial, a test was conducted to enable the improvement of critical and creative thinking skills. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) which is limited to three stages namely analysis, product design and development. The validity assessment used expert judgement. The design of e-portfolio learning media involves elements that are in accordance with the indicators of critical and creative thinking by providing feedback, self-assessment, peer assessment, self-reflection. The data generated in this study is the validity of e-portfolios to measure critical and creative thinking skills. Based on the profile analysis of critical and creative thinking skills of SMP Negeri 8 Purwosari students, it was found that there was an increase in the percentage of critical thinking skills of grade VIII students from 73.08% in the very low category (19 students) to 88.46% in the very high category (21 students). It was also found that the percentage of creative thinking ability of the largest VIII grade students was 69.23% in the very low category (18 students) to 46.15% in the very high category (12 students) after using e-portfolios. This research developed e-portfolios as an innovative instrument that not only measures critical or creative thinking ability separately, but also learns both critical and creative thinking ability . In its implementation, the e-portfolio is designed to integrate various learning components, such as problem-based assignments, case studies, experiments and self-reflection that are relevant to practising critical and creative thinking skills. In use of advanced technology in sector, the result of that many goals have been targeted to perform has been achieved. In use of APTs, as the factors especially that are “speeding up and shortening the production process”, “quality improvement”, “reducing costs”, “increasing production” are considered the important aims; and, in use of AMTs, the factor that is “ensuring effective and efficient working environment to take advantage of human resources at the highest level” comes to the fore. The leading one of the factors blocking the use of advanced production technology has been seen to be “financial problems. When evaluating that case along with the result of that advanced technologies are the most important factor affecting competitive tools, it can be stated that the companies have an idea that there is a compulsory to overcome this problem. Also, in sector, it has been achieved that the result of the important aims between today and the future in concern with the concentration of different APTs and AMTs implementations were determined. The article is devoted to the study of system relations and trends of development of advanced production technologies in the Russian Federation from 2010 to 2018 on the basis of retrospective data, as well as approaches to its analysis. A review of relevant publications is made. As the result it is concluded that many problems of the development and implementation of innovative technologies have a system character and remain unresolved. Models of dynamics of individual indicators of innovation are investigated: the number of developed and used advanced production technologies (APT). In the period under study the positive reduction of the gap between the used and developed APTs, as well as higher growth rates of the latter are described. The results of modeling the dynamics of frequency distributions, median and modal values of indicators are presented. The similarity of the situations in the most regions of the country is revealed. But there are some exceptions – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod region, where more favorable conditions are observed. The difference in the patterns of the growth rate of median and modal values is shown; the used APT is dominant for both indicators. An increase in the asymmetry of the APT development in the regions of the Russian Federation is found. The method of multiple rating revealed the subjects, the situation in which is more favorable in terms of the number of developed and used APTs, but there are no regions that are simultaneously leading in both indicators.

Spatial Modelling of the Impact of R&D Potential on the Dynamics of Scientific and Technological Development of Russian Regions

The study of the scientific and technological development of Russia's regions is important for several reasons. Firstly, the development of advanced production technologies is crucial for enhancing the competitiveness of Russian industry and ensuring the country's technological sovereignty. Secondly, analyzing the impact of science expenditures, the number of researchers and the number of organizations on the development of advanced technologies will help to identify the factors that either promote or hinder scientific and technological progress in different regions. This, in turn, can serve as the basis for developing proposals to update the Strategy of Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation, as well as the development strategies of federal districts and constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of the dynamics of the regions' R&D potential on the dynamics of advanced production technologies developed within those regions using spatial modelling methods. The following hypothesis has been proposed - increasing budget expenditures on science and technology has a positive impact on the development of advanced manufacturing technologies in Russian regions. The novelty of the methodological approach lies in the use of spatial modelling methods applying several spatial weight matrices. In the course of the study, it was confirmed that the dynamics of the newly developed advanced production technologies is positively influenced by the engineering and technical personnel based in the neighboring regions who are engaged in research and development, as well as by the financial resources allocated to scientific organizations of the surrounding regions to conduct fundamental research. According to Durbin's model, the number of R&D organizations operating in the surrounding regions and the amount of funding allocated for applied research and development have a negative impact on the dynamics of developed advanced technologies. The theoretical significance of the study lies in the identification of factors affecting the creation of domestic advanced manufacturing technologies. The practical significance lies in the possibility of using these results to form strategies to promote scientific and technological development of the regions of the Russian Federation under modern conditions.

This research is motivated by the findings of problems in economics learning including: in economics learning students are passive; lack of critical thinking activity and creativity; teacher-centered learning (teacher centered); The learning model used by teachers tends to be monotonous. This research aims to determine the implementation of the model problem based learning to develop students' critical thinking skills in economics learning. The research method is a case study with a qualitative approach, data is collected through interviews, observation and documentation of the implementation of learning to develop critical thinking skills. The results of the research show that planning economic learning using models problem based learning to develop highly structured and systematic critical thinking skills. Implementation of economic learning with models problem based learning Overall, it has succeeded in creating a learning environment that supports the development of students' critical and analytical thinking skills. Assessment of economic learning with models problem based learning has been designed and implemented well, so that students' critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration skills develop optimally. Supporting factors for learning economics with models problem based learning really supports the development of students' critical thinking skills. Factors inhibiting economic learning with models problem based learning developing critical thinking skills is a very serious challenge. Efforts to overcome barriers to economic learning with models problem based learning can develop students' critical thinking skills effectively.

US Trade in Advanced Technology Products

In 2002, US net exports of advanced technology products (ATPs) registered a deficit of US$16.6 billion for the first time. By 2006, the ATP trade deficit reached US$43.7 billion. This is primarily due to China's increasing importance as an ATP import source and does not indicate a wholesale loss of US competitiveness in ATPs. Mostly, China's market share gain came at the expense of other Asian countries. This geographical shift in China's favor is due to her greater integration with Asian supply chains. Trade gravity regressions show that the USA exports more advanced technology parts and accessories to lower income countries but advanced technology capital and consumer goods imports by the USA are not correlated with the income of the import source countries. Thus, there is weak evidence that labor cost savings via foreign assembly operations dominate US ATP trade with middle and low income countries.

A Typical Case Study of Investment in Agricultural Projects - The Case of Mokumoku Farms

In recent years, the scale of investment in agricultural infrastructure construction projects in China has shown a continuous expansion trend, a large amount of social capital into the agricultural sector at the same time, the inefficiency of resource allocation, investment efficiency does not meet expectations and other issues are becoming increasingly prominent. Particularly noteworthy is that some agricultural investment projects due to the lack of risk management mechanism leading to serious losses, exposing the agricultural project investment decision-making system needs to be improved theoretical and practical dilemma. This study adopts the typical case study method, selects Mokumoku Farm in Japan as the research object, and through systematic deconstruction of its development mode, deeply analyzes the coupling mechanism among the core elements, such as project planning, industry integration, risk control and value co-creation. It provides a new analytical framework for agricultural project investment risk management, and also provides a practical path for optimizing China's agricultural investment decision-making mechanism and enhancing the comprehensive benefits of agricultural projects, with a view to providing reference for agricultural project investment management.

The impact of the management accounting practices on manufacturing firms in the developing countries cannot be overlook. Management accounting practices adopts and put to practice by these firms has always yielded result, but before management accounting practices are adopted by these firms there are factors that determine their adoption. This paper purposely looks into factors that determine the adoption of management accounting practices by manufacturing firms in Ghana. Various literatures has brought to light that that both internal and external environmental factor such firm size, market rivalry (competition), level of qualification of accounting staff and advanced production technology as the major factors that affect MAPs adoption and want to make analysis with Ghanaian manufacturing firms does these factors affect their choice of MAPs This study gathered Data from 200 manufacturing firms in Ghana through questionnaires and regression analysis were done using SPSS to determine the impact these factors have on the adoption of MAPs by these manufacturing firms in Ghana. The study identified determinants such as, firm size, market rivalry (competition), level of qualification of accounting staff and advanced production technology has a positive significant impact on the adoption of management accounting practices by manufacturing firms in Ghana. Mapping Research Trends on 21st-Century Problem-Solving Skills in Science Learning: A Literature Review from 2014 to 2023

: Problem-solving skills are among the most important competencies of students, especially in the area of science education in the 21st century. Problem-solving skills enhance critical, logical, and creative thinking skills, which are necessary to solve complex real-life problems. This study is intended to identify and analyze research trends with regard to problem-solving skills in science learning from 2014 to 2023. A qualitative bibliometric approach has been used, and the data was collected using Publish or Perish and Dimensions.ai. In total, 200 documents indexed by Google Scholar were analyzed. Research trends, key keywords, and publication patterns were mapped and visualized using the VOSviewer software. The findings indicated that research on problem-solving skills gained consistent interest over the last decade, with the highest number of publications in 2023. Journals were the most common type of publication, followed by proceedings, chapters, and books. Among all publication venues, the Journal of Physics: Conference Series turned out to be the most important, publishing 784 articles and receiving 2567 citations. The most frequent keywords accompanying research in problem-solving are "critical thinking," "science learning," "motivation," and "teacher," which point to the interdisciplinary nature of the topic. Bibliometric visualization shows the emergence of new research clusters: student skills development, teaching strategies, and assessment methods. The conclusion from this study is that, while the research on problem-solving skills has grown steadily in science education, the implementation of practical teaching strategies in a classroom to enhance these skills remains fragmented. The future direction for research should encompass experimental studies through the integration of problem-based learning approaches that are important in the development of critical and creative thinking among students. Such findings have an important basis for educators, policymakers, and researchers to devise evidence-based practices that enhance the outcomes of science education.
