Data-Driven Evaluation of College English Teaching Decision-Making Ability
Under the background of educational informatization, data-driven teaching decision-making has become a key means to improve the quality of education, but there are some shortcomings in the use of data in college English teaching decision-making. This study constructs an evaluation system of college English teaching decision-making ability, covering data awareness and literacy, data application ability, decision-making optimization ability, and collaborative innovation ability. Through the empirical study of two parallel classes of English majors in a university, the results show that the evaluation system can accurately identify learning problems, optimize teaching strategies, and improve students' language ability and classroom participation. However, the system has some shortcomings, such as difficulty in obtaining data, limitation of evaluation system, and teachers' excessive dependence on data. This study provides a path for improving the decision-making ability of college English teaching and also provides a way for the digital transformation of teaching.

Establishing a perfect teaching evaluation system is one of the essential links to test the teaching results. In this paper, firstly, on the basis of clarifying the principle of constructing the evaluation index system of spoken English teaching, we formulate the index elements of the first, second level, and third levels, build the evaluation index system of spoken English teaching through the Delphi method, and initially determine the degree of importance of the evaluation indexes by relying on the Likert scale. Then the indicators are assigned with the compatibility matrix analysis method and the improved entropy weighting method, and the level of spoken English teaching in colleges and universities is quantitatively analyzed from the two primary levels of students and teachers through the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, examples are used to examine students’ readiness to evaluate spoken English teaching in colleges and universities, and the effectiveness of the constructed evaluation system for spoken English teaching is assessed. The results show that the total score of students’ rating of spoken English teaching in colleges and universities is 86.5, and the total score of teachers’ rating is 93.3, both of which are more than 85, indicating that the quality of spoken English teaching in the sample colleges and universities is good. This study realizes further improvement and transformation at the levels of evaluation concept, evaluation content, evaluation method, etc.. It provides specific references for teaching evaluation and decision-making regarding teaching reform in other disciplines.

In order to widen college English teachers’ ecological niche and promote their teaching ability, we make an empirical study on college English teachers’ teaching ability and ecological niche on the basis of Ecological Niche Theory. The paper shows how to take advantage of micro-lectures, make full use of 5C teaching strategies and form multiple teaching and learning evaluation and online teaching and learning community to improve discourse power between students and teacher, to change the role of students and teacher. In this way, college English teachers’ teaching ability will be improved greatly.

The growing strength of China’s national power and the rapid advancement of the country’s foreign development make the country pay more and more attention to the development of Chinese excellent traditional culture education. Integrating Chinese excellent traditional culture into English teaching in colleges and universities can help to inherit and promote Chinese excellent traditional culture. This paper explores the path of integrating excellent Chinese traditional culture into English teaching in colleges and universities based on the background of informatization and designs a digital English teaching method of traditional culture based on somatosensory interaction with regard to the carrier of traditional culture teaching materials. The method was adopted for English teaching practice, and the effect of traditional culture dissemination was analyzed from three aspects: cognition, attitude, and action. A questionnaire survey on students’ interest and willingness to learn was conducted, and the results showed that students’ interest and willingness to learn traditional culture increased dramatically after digital English teaching of traditional culture based on somatosensory interaction. By comparing the students’ English scores with the pre and post-tests, the average of the student’s total scores before the implementation of the teaching case is 45.631, and the average of the total scores after the implementation of the teaching case is 68.521, and the student’s scores are significantly improved. By analyzing the effect of traditional culture dissemination, the digital English teaching method of traditional culture based on somatosensory interaction designed in this paper can effectively promote and disseminate excellent Chinese traditional culture.

Vocabulary is the foundation of learning any language. The richer the vocabulary mastery, the better the learners' ability and level of language learning. However, combined with the actual situation of teaching, it is not uncommon for learners to memorize learning methods by rote. The development of modern science and technology has made some advanced teaching methods integrated into college English teaching. To improve the English level of college students, the improvement of their vocabulary is the foundation, and mastering a certain number of idioms is of great significance to improve students' language knowledge and ability, cross-cultural communication awareness and ability. If you simply repeat the spelling and Chinese translation of the memorized words, few students can persist for a long time, and it is easy to cause students to have a one-sided understanding of the meaning of the words. Such complex language phenomena as deformation have brought great challenges to vocabulary teaching and learning. However, in the traditional college English vocabulary teaching, students are not very motivated to memorize a large number of English vocabulary. The article analyzes the optimization and innovation of college English vocabulary teaching under the advanced teaching concept of POA (output-oriented method). Taking the network technology and hardware resources as the carrier, the learning resources are called and integrated to effectively improve the participation of students and the teaching effect.

With the increasing competition of international talents, cultivating college students' ability of thinking has become the core content of college English teaching, and it has a very important role for students to work and develop in the future. At present, however, there are still many problems in the practice teaching process of college English teaching and learning ability training mode in China. Therefore, this article starts from the basic concept of thinking ability, and analyzes the importance of thinking ability in the college English teaching. Modules and Three Stages proposed by guidelines on college English teaching that will be issued by the Ministry of Education gives direction for college English teaching. Through the investigation of the students' cognition and learning of English curriculum, combined with the teaching experiment, the new system of English curriculum, which reflects the characteristics of medical colleges and universities, has been preliminarily established, aiming at cultivating medical students' comprehensive Eng-lish abilities in medical study and career development. Considering students' language abilities in different stages, college English curriculum can be designed in three modules, that is, English for general purpose (EGP), English for academic purpose (EAP) and intercultural communication, in three stages, that is, the basic stage, the improvement stage, and the development stage. The practice shows that the new curriculum system can promote the interaction, reform and development of teachers, teaching teams and Foreign Lan-guage Department. With the development of College English teaching, colleges and universities have trained a large number of compound talents who understand foreign languages. At the same time, with the development, there are many problems in some aspects of English teaching. Nowadays, the teaching guiding concept overemphasizes the study of language foundation, grammar, sentence structure, etc., but neglects the training of students' practical ability of using language, which embodies a strong color of exam oriented education. This paper explores the combination of the online answering system and College English teaching, and puts forward the design and implementation of the online answering system in order to improve the quality and effect of English teaching. At present, the only standard to measure the quality of College English Teaching in China is generally the CET-4 and CET-6. In this way, the means of assessment and test for teaching is very single. In our country, this kind of test mostly follows the design of foreign related tests and the aspects involved in them. This kind of test mode obviously does not meet our needs for English talents. As for the students' language ability, it can't be detected completely only through the examination. In this way, this single test mode also brings some negative effects to the English teaching work and the design of teaching to a certain extent. Therefore, in view of the existing problems, further improvement and innovation can be made in the future college English teaching. Teachers can scientifically use multimedia, Internet and other information technology means to reform the traditional classroom teaching methods. Because, in the traditional teaching process, the amount of information that students receive is very small, and the way that they can choose to receive is very single, which leads to the low interest of students in learning and the low efficiency of teachers' teaching. With the continuous application of various science and technology as well as various network resources in the teaching field, computer network assisted English teaching has become an important teaching mode. We can see that with the rapid development of science and technology today, the existence of online classroom answering system can better connect teaching, teachers and students, and can mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm of students, so that college English teaching in higher vocational colleges can embark on the road of sustainable development.

Under the background of globalization, college English teaching transcends the mere cultivation of linguistic proficiency to serve as an integral component in developing intercultural communication competence. As an important gem of Chinese civilization, Bashu culture has a rich historical and cultural background, providing unique and rich resources for college English teaching. Moreover, the development of smart education has provided new means and platforms for the integration of Bashu culture into college English teaching. This paper takes Unit 4, "Let’s Go" from New Horizon College English (book 3) as an example. By integrating Bashu cultural resources and adopting an online-offline blended teaching model, it constructs a trinity teaching framework of "language + culture + technology" and a Bashu cultural integration path of "perception - understanding - dissemination," aiming to enhance students' language ability and cultural literacy.

College English classroom teaching evaluation is an important basis to reflect the quality of classroom teaching, which has some uncertainties. However, the traditional college English classroom teaching evaluation is plagued by the randomness of the evaluation process and the fuzziness of the evaluation criteria. This paper analyzes the problems existing in the current college English teaching quality evaluation system and the evaluation principles that should be followed, and constructs a college English teaching quality evaluation system with learning as the center and students as the evaluation subject. On this basis, the interval-valued fuzzy set can effectively reduce the loss of fuzzy information in the process of information processing, and introduces the evaluation method of college English classroom teaching quality based on interval-valued fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Compared with the general fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the interval value fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method can more accurately and comprehensively evaluate the quality of college English classroom teaching. The test of specific English classroom examples proves that the method is objective, effective, scientific and feasible.

The "double-height" construction plan of China's vocational education reform proposes to build high-level vocational schools and high-level majors. The industry-education integration is the key task of the "double-height" construction plan, an important tool for deepening the reform of education, and a key measure to build a high level institution with Chinese characteristics and world standards. The "dual-qualification" teacher team is an important force for the internal development of higher vocational institutions and a fundamental guarantee for improving the quality of talent training. The industry-education integration is an important carrier for the construction of "dual-qualification" teachers, which realizes the organic integration of industry chain and education chain. This paper analyzes the current situation of English teachers in higher vocational institutions from the background of industry-teaching integration, and finds that there are problems such as solidified teaching concept, single knowledge structure, lack of practical ability and imperfect teacher development mechanism of college English teachers. In view of these problems, the development path of " "dual-qualification " college English teachers is proposed: College English teachers need to update their education and teaching concepts, improve their comprehensive quality, and construct a perfect development mechanism for "dual-qualification " college English teachers. We hope to promote the development of college English teachers, build an excellent "dual-qualification" college English teachers’ team, and help the construction of "double-height" construction plan for higher vocational education.

In recent years, College English teaching has made remarkable achievements. Some long-term problems have been properly solved, and students’academic performance has improved to a certain extent. Nevertheless, there are still many problems in College English classroom teaching, which not only hinder the improvement of College English classroom teaching efficiency, but also affect the cultivation of students’English language ability. The author finds that the interaction between teachers and students should be strengthened in the classroom, which has a very good auxiliary role in improving the efficiency of English teaching. Firstly, this paper analyses the problems existing in the current college English classroom teaching. Secondly, it analyses the role of improving teachers’ and students’ interaction ability in College English classroom teaching with the computer aid. Finally, the corresponding solutions are proposed.

In college English teaching, educators often use multimedia information technology to carry out teaching activities and present the corresponding curriculum content in detail. Based on two semesters of analysis and investigation, this paper presents an empirical study on multimedia teaching in two courses of a non-English major in one Chinese college. The results show that multimedia teaching technology can effectively enhance college students' interest in English learning, stimulate their enthusiasm, enhance the interaction between teachers and students, and cultivate their autonomous learning ability. The research suggests that colleges and universities should strengthen the hardware support and software facilities of multimedia-assisted teaching to promote the significant improvement of students' language ability.
