Abstract

This paper analyzes the dynamics of soliton transmission to the newly proposed Biswas-Arshed model which is considered in the absence of self-phase modulation. To compensate the negligibly small group velocity dispersion, this model includes spatio-temporal dispersion of higher order. The extended (G′/G)-expansion method is employed to retrieve singular, dark and periodic singular soliton solutions for the two nonlinear forms of the model which are Kerr and power law. The constraint relations for the existence of these solitons are also reckoned.
