thirty kids? Moreover, I've always felt teaching and learning should be fun, should leave teacher and students with a pleasant feeling-not with the vapid taste of chalk dust. To that effect, I've always used humor in my classes, and often I've been successful. On occasion, however, I've been rather less than successful, and the cumulative effect of my comedic failures has led me to conclude that there are definite dangers in classroom humor.
