Abstract

• Gastric glomus tumors are rare mesenchymal tumors that should be included in the differential of gastric submucosal masses. • Cytologic features of glomus tumors are distinctive, but immunohistochemistry is required to help ascertain the diagnosis. • Endoscopic ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration can be used in the diagnosis of gastric intramural or submucosal lesions.
