Abstract

A case of cystadenocarcinoma of the pancreas is presented and previous reports reviewed briefly. The tumour was successfully treated by surgical excision after a preliminary biopsy. At the first laparotomy the nature of the lesion was not recognized. It is suggested that cystic lesions of the pancreas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of vague upper abdominal discomfort.
