Abstract
The newest generation of the BMW inline six-cylinder engines is ready for market launch. The sealing manufacturer Victor Reinz, engineering partner and series supplier of the international automobile industry, has made a significant contribution with his new design of a cylinder head gasket. The five-layer gasket was adapted to the aluminum/magnesium composite construction of crankcase of this engine.
