Abstract

1. Cyclic homo- and cooligomerization of 1,2-dimethylenecyclobutane with butadiene, isoprene, piperylene, and cyclopropylbutadienes in the presence of three-component catalysts based on nickel were studied for the first time. The conditions for the preparation of previously unknown bi- and tricyclic hydrocarbons with four-carbon rings with high yields were determined. 2. 1,2-Dimethylenecyclobutane retains the cyclobutane ring in conditions of homogeneous catalytic transformations and resembles the simplest 1,3-dienes with respect to the reactivity in these reactions.
