Abstract
AbstractA current reused CMOS RF‐DAC with complementary current control, quadrature LO chain, and adaptive body injection mixer is presented in 0.18‐μm bulk CMOS process. The complementary current control leads to achieve good linearity by reducing the variation of output impedance. The proposed quadrature LO chain can achieve accurate signals in a wideband with constant amplitude and exact phase. The body injection mixer is implemented with simple high‐k resistor. It is measured with 5 and 5.3 GHz continuous‐wave (CW) signal, respectively. The measured constellation has 1024 points with constant current consumption of 73 mA.
