Summary

Introduction

Pakistan is a diverse country having four provinces, which further divide people on the basis of cultural values, norms and beliefs along with socio-economic patterns. People of all the provinces practice various tribal and customary traditions associated with the specific province. These cultural values and traditions are important in their own way but their negative implication in a society is responsible for the evolution of different factors in the country and one of the fine example is gender equality that has affected the women in terms of their peaceful survival and in terms of their basic right of health (Marlen, 2019). The emphasis here is on the harmful effects of gender inequality, along with the restrictive cultural standards and values for women and gender minorities (Digitale, 2019)
