Abstract

Dear Dr. Bedrossian:In gynaecological cytology, when the screening of cer-vicovaginal smears is carried out, the attention of the ob-server is principally focussed on the detection of the cellanomalies present and the detection of pathogenic micro-organisms. With the commonly employed Papanicolaoutechnique, other types of structures, such as crystallinebodies, are also described in the literature.
