Abstract

AbstractIn this paper, we propose HARQ retransmission algorithms in the wireless access networks exploiting not only licensed spectrum band but also unlicensed spectrum band with meeting the regulatory requirements such as Listen-Before-Talk. In particular, the proposed HARQ retransmission via one available component carrier regardless of the spectrum is licensed or unlicensed is beneficial in a sense that it doesn’t increase the transmission latency with potential retransmissions.
