Abstract
The article’s requirements for the preservation and strengthening of the health of the population are specified in a number of state documents, which emphasize the strengthening of the health function of physical culture in general educational institutions, the creation of a healthy environment for children and their involvement in physical culture and health work. This requires institutions of higher education to direct the training of future subject teachers to health-improving physical education in extra-time, capability of performing the functions of the head or coordinator of physical culture and health work with students. The purpose of the research is to scientifically substantiate and test the pedagogical conditions of the preparation of future teachers for individually directed physical education and recreational work in general educational institutions. To characterize the level of preparedness of future teachers for individually directed physical culture and health work in general educational institutions: high, sufficient, satisfactory, low.The article presents a new solution to the scientific problem of preparing future teachers for individually directed physical education and recreation work in general educational institutions, which allowed to substantiate and construct a model for ensuring this process, to develop and experimentally test pedagogical conditions in the system of professional training of students.
