Cp 2Ti IV- und Cp 2Zr IV-komplexe mit oxydiacetatliganden

Abstract

The reaction of Cp 2TiCl 2 with the disodium salt of oxydiacetic acid in the two phase system of H 2O/CHCl 3 gives the mononuclear penta-coordinate complex Cp 2Ti(O(CH 2CO 2) 2) ( 1) or, if CH 2Cl 2 is present, the dinuclear tetra-coordinate complex [Cp 2Ti(O(CH 2CO 2) 2)] 2 · 2CH 2Cl 2 ( 2). The analogous reaction starting with Cp 2ZrCl 2 gives only Cp 2Zr(O(CH 2CO 2) 2) ( 3) which is isostructural with 1. The crystal structures of 1, 2 and 3 have been determined by X-ray diffraction.
