Abstract

The Cover Feature displays some Latin American sources of quinolines and carbohydrates on the left and selected relevant applications of their mutual conjugation on the right. An Argentine sugarcane field (upper left) symbolizes the origin of abundant commercial carbohydrates, whereas the photomicrograph of a Colombian bituminous coal surface (lower left) recalls the original obtention of quinoline.
