Abstract

Abstract The waterproof quality of concrete structures prevents the penetration of water into the structure as the outflow of water through concrete dam. Water penetration can lead to the limitation or abolishment of the function of structures. Waterproof structures can be made in different construction methods, e.g. as a Black Tray, Brown Tray or White Tray. Each of these variants has its advantages and disadvantages, but the White Tray is preferred in this paper. In this construction method adequate measures are taken in order to prevent the formation of water‐bearing cracks.
