Abstract

Styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers were synthesized by suspension polymerization in the presence of benzyl alcohol (BA) and hepatane (Hep). The influence of BA/Hep ratio, dilution degree and DVB content on the formation of porous structure and swelling of the copolymers were investigated. The results were interpreted according to the solubility parameter theory.
