Abstract
The effect of heat treatment of aluminum alloys ranging in purity from 99.2 to 99:998 per cent Al on the rates of dissolution and resulting etch structures in hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions has been studied. The results are listed at the end of the paper under SUMMARY.
