Abstract

Computation has become a bottleneck for high data rate and precision instruments. To improve the performance, digital signal processing algorithms are implemented in FPGA. Current FPGAs offer the ability to run software applications on an embedded processor while at the same time utilizing reconfigurable hardware resources to accelerate computationally intensive design elements, all on the same chip package [19, 20].
