Abstract

Objective To explore relationship between the nursing workload and job satisfaction in nurses of classⅢgradeⅠorthopedics hospitals .Methods A survey was conducted in 132 nurses about nurse job satisfaction and nursing workload .Results The score of nursing workload and job satisfaction were significantly different among nurses with different positional titles , nurse age(F=26.988,23.654,56.988,47.081;P〈0.05). There was significant negative correlation between nursing workload and job satisfaction (r=-0.292,P〈0.01). Regression analysis show that the prediction coefficient of positional titles , nurse age and nursing workload to job satisfaction respectively were 0.351,0.275 and -0.356 (P 〈0.05).Conclusions There are significant positive effect of nursing workload on job satisfaction of nurse , so it is important to improve their professional skills and reasonable scheduling for nurses in class Ⅲgrade Ⅰorthopedics hospitals .
