Correction to “Future changes in climate, ocean circulation, ecosystems, and biogeochemical cycling simulated for a business‐as‐usual CO2 emission scenario until year 4000 AD”

Abstract

[1] In the paper “Future changes in climate, ocean circulation, ecosystems, and biogeochemical cycling simulated for a business-as-usual CO2 emission scenario until year 4000 AD” by A. Schmittner et al. (Global Biogeochemical Cycles, 22, GB1013, doi:10.1029/2007GB002953), errors occurred as detailed below. [3] In Table A1, μP should be replaced by μP2, its correct terminology should be “Quadratic mortality coefficient,” and its unit should be (mmol m−3)−1 d−1. The correct unit of the (quadratic) zooplankton mortality μZ must be (mmol m−3)−1 d−1. [4] Other corrections are shown here in Table 1. [5] In equation (A14), μ*P0 should be replaced by μP0.
