Abstract

On the basis of reviewing and synthetically analyzing the characteristic of some current correction methods on discrete spectrum, an improved method, the extracting frequency correction method, is presented to improve the precision of discrete spectrum correction. The method approaches the original signal with the signal consisting of many harmonic signal components. These harmonic signal components are constructed by iteratively extracting the frequencies which have maximal amplitudes in amplitude spectrum of the original signal. Then the amplitudes and phases of these harmonic frequency components are amended with least square approximation method. Simulation result demonstrates that this method is easily carried out with high precision, hence applicable for all kinds of stationary signal processing in engineering.
