Abstract

A novel digital image watermarking algorithm for copyright protection of digital products in digital library is proposed by using the generalized fuzzy c-means clustering (GFCM), Information fusion (InF), and discrete cosine transform (DCT). The presented approach can be applied to enhance robustness and security of copyright information in digital library. The original image blocks are classied into two classes based on several characteristic parameters with Human Visual System(HVS). One is suited for embedding, the other is not. The watermark is embedded in 2-DCT suited blocks of every communication channel. During detection process we apply information fusion technique to regard three channels as three detached sensors and carry out information fusion by communication channels performances. In the same time, for the good performance, the watermark is modulated into the fractional modulation array. The simulation results show that we can remarkably extract the hiding copyright information in digital library and can achieve good robustness with common signal distortion or geometric distortion and the quality of the embedded image is guaranteed.
