Abstract
The coordination chemistry of diphosphines dppe, dppm, and dppp towards [Re(CO)4{κ2-S,S′-Ph2P(S)NP(S)Ph2}] was explored. The four types of new complexes prepared depicted monocoordination of the diphosphine or the Ph2P(S)NP(S)Ph2 ligands, bridging diphosphine ligands, and dicoordination to afford the spiro complexes. Characterizations were achieved by IR, mass, NMR (1H, 13C, 31P) spectroscopies, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
