Abstract

AbstractA consistent quantum electrodynamics (QED) perturbation theory approach is applied to the calculation of the electron–nuclear γ‐transition spectra of the nucleus in the neutral atom. Satellite intensities are defined in the relativistic version of the energy approach (S‐matrix formalism). The nuclear transitions in the isotopes of Ne21 with energy 6 MeV and Ca41 with energy 3 MeV are considered. The results of the calculations of the relative satellite intensities for different transitions in the neutral atoms Ne, Ca are presented. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J Quantum Chem, 2005
