CONTROL AND EVALUATION OF THE RISK OF POPULATION EXPOSURE TO RADON Introduction. A safe way to reduce the onset of oncological diseases is to protect the population from exposure to radon. Scopul studiului a constat în monitorizarea concentrațiilor de radon în aerul din diferite tipuri de locuințe (n=2500), din zonele rurale și urbane, de pe teritoriul Republicii Moldova, prin utilizarea detectorilor de tip RADTRAK2, cu evaluarea riscului expunerii populației la radon.
