Abstract

Ein nützlicher Virus: Monodisperse faserartige Bakteriophagen ordnen sich zu einem hexagonalen Gitter an, das als Templat für SiO2-Nanostrukturen diente. Entfernen der Bakteriophagen-Struktur durch Kalzinieren führte zur Bildung einer neuen Klasse mesoporöser SiO2-Fasern mit Porenstrukturen, die durch die Struktur der Bakteriophagen definiert sind (siehe Bild).
