Abstract

This paper investigates the controllability of sampled-data switched Boolean control networks (SDSBCNs) with probabilistic switching signal. Firstly, SDSBCNs are routinely converted into linear discrete-time systems by utilizing the semi-tensor product (STP) method. Secondly, some necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for the controllability of SDSBCNs. Moreover, an interesting phenomenon is observed in the study of controllability, that is, if the sampling period is unequal to one, the switched Boolean control network (SBCN) may lose the controllability, compared to the conventional Boolean control network (BCN). Finally, a practical example is presented to demonstrate that the obtained results are effective in the study of controllability analysis.
