Abstract
We obtain new functional relations among the components of thermal stresses, and also their dependence on the temperature field. Using these relations we find solutions of a control problem that we pose. We state necessary conditions for the existence of the required optimal control which must be satisfied by the given distribution function of the control of thermal stresses.
