Abstract

This article evaluated the contribution of pedagogical workshops to the continuing education of teachers for digital technology insertion in classroom. The workshops were organized by the Educational Technologies Department of the schools that constitute the Regional Education Superintendency in Taió (state of Santa Catarina). The data was collected by survey method from a form sent to the participants of three workshops: “Google for Education”, “Tech Day” and “Immersive Virtual Environments: Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality”. The form was responded by 60 out of 152 participants. The effectiveness of the workshops for teachers continuing education was verified through data analysis, since the teachers had the opportunity of gaining knowledge about the use of new technological resources and innovative practices that place the student in the center of the teaching and learning process.
