Abstract
Continuous plastics compounding machinery from Italian company Pomini is based on two technologies — the Long Continuous Mixer (LCM) and LCM with axial discharge (LCM-AX). The LCM is a counter-rotating tangential mixer with rotors supported by bearings. This mixer is combined with a single screw extruder for vacuum venting, degassing, pumping and pelletizing (two stage technology).
