Abstract

Virtual reality technology has become one of the most emerging tools to enhance and stimulate user engagement. In the sector of cultural heritage, particularly for students and tourists, virtual reality application functions as a platform of learning and experiencing of cultural events through restoring historic sites and placing user in virtual interactive environments so that user is able to explore, learn and understand cultural heritage in a more immersive way. This paper, in the perspective of content designer for traditional dance, proposes concept for designing content of traditional dance based on target user and interactive storytelling that is implemented in the Interactive Korean Traditional Dance ExperienZone to contribute to the revitalization of traditional dance in Korea.
