Abstract

Recently, to prevent global warming, the Japanese government has announced drastic CO2 reduction targets through scientifically and technically inappropriate plans such as the ending of internal combustion engines in automobiles and the electrification of all vehicles. The issue of global warming is not taught correctly even in elementary and junior high school education. In this paper, I tried to consider how the issue of global warming should be dealt with in a lecture of automobile engineering in the university's mechanical engineering department. In this study, in addition to literature research, a questionnaire survey was conducted for students. As a result, several points to be noted in class became clear.
