Abstract

Conservative Management of Young Patients with Early Stage Endometrial Cancer

Highlights

  • Based on the recent recommendations and guidelines, systematic surgical staging represents the primary therapeutic approach in all patients with Endometrial cancer (EC) as offers various diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic benefits in them [3-10,12,1720]

  • Conservative management should be offered in well selected young patients with early stage disease and strong desire for fertility sparing treatment [5,8,11,13,21,22,23,24]

  • Patients should be informed that conservative management is a non-standard treatment approach and they should be able to accept a very close follow-up during and after fertility sparing treatment [5,8,11,13,21,24]
