Abstract

Conjugates of poly-α-(1→4)-L-guluronic and poly-β-(1→4)-D-mannuronic acids with 1-phenyl-2,3-dimethyl-4-aminopyrazol-5-one (4-aminoantipyrine) were synthesized and characterized using 1H–13C HSQC spectra by the contents of intact A units, modified B units, and triad sequences of units with an A center (AAA, AAB + BAA, and BAB) and with a B center (BBB, BBA + ABB, and ABA).
