Abstract
North Western France (Armorica) has undergone during the Holocene, under human impact, a progressive deforestation, while an atlantic regressive heathland spread gradually. Palynological analysis applied to wet grounds and to archaeological sites (with specific data processings) and those of anthracology (identification of charcoal and ring analysis) converge towards an original methodological approach for the reconstruction of the principal stages of the evolution of the environment.
