Abstract

Objective The calibration evaluation module of traditional shafting design software for ships has some problems, such as long modification and adjustment period and poor expansibility of calibration rules, which need to be solved. Method Using the idea of configuration development, the type of evaluation indexes in shafting design was divided into different patterns. Based on these patterns, a set of implementation methods for verification evaluation was designed, which took the expression configuration, the configuration extraction for calculation results, the dynamic replacement for calculation expressions, and the verification evaluation for design results as the mainline. Result The verification and evaluation module of design software can be modified and extended flexibly, and a general expression parser supporting this method was implemented. Conclusion The application verification of ship shafting design software shows that the proposed method can support user-defined verification and evaluation rules without modifying the program source code, and can be extended to design software development, such method can improve the efficiency and flexibility of related work.
