Conference on Theoretical Physics and Nonlinear Phenomena 2017

Abstract

PrefaceThe Conference on Theoretical Physics and Nonlinear Phenomena is an annual meeting on theoretical physics and nonlinear phenomena in Indonesia. The inaugural of this conference was held in 2004, with the name of Workshop on Theoretical Physics. This year, the conference took place in the campus of Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, West Java. It is the first time for this campus to host this conference, where theoretical physicists from various places of Indonesia gathered and reported their researches progress. The topics presented in this conference covered theoretical physics in a broad range, including nonlinear science. Even more, in the last couple of the series, there were also talks reporting the development of experimental high energy particle physics, which were highly appreciated as a guide for theorists to make contacts with the real world.There were 3 invited talks and 21 contributed talks presented in the conference. Thirteen years after its launch, the original spirit of the conference is unchanged, which is to gather Indonesian theoretical physicists to share their works and excitements. In particular, this conference can be also the place for the younger generations of theorists for presenting their ideas and grasping knowledges from the senior researchers.
