Abstract
At the conclusion of the “6th European Symposium of Organic Micropollutats in the Aquatic Environment” it is a pleasure to make a few remarks. We would like to start with some personal observations which have their basis in the very interesting introductory speech by Dr. J. Vila Lobos. Dr. Vila Lobos mentioned in his talk some experiences from the recent United Nations conference in Bergen, Norway regarding “Sustainable Development”. As participants at the events in Bergen we would like to reinforce some of Dr. Vila Lobos experiences. By this we can also in some way close the circle of this Symposium.
