Abstract
A computer program has been used to assist in the analysis of absorbance changes in amniotic fluid from Rh-sensitized pregnancies. The advantages of the program are reduced chance of human error in calculation or communication, numerical reports in a form similar to those of other chemistry values on the patient's chart, and increased laboratory efficiency. Programmed calculation should be combined with a visual inspection of a wavelength scan for detection of interfering pigments.
