Abstract

The underlying ideas of a general purpose application software to reveal the dynamic performance of a bridge-track-vehicle system have been discussed. A synthesis of the concepts of matrix methods of structural analysis and component element method of vehicle dynamics have been done in a manner to lead to automatic generation of mathematical model and its solution. A case example of parametric effects has been addressed.
