Abstract

Detailed analysis of CT findings in a verified case of nonketotic hyperglycinemia is presented. CT findings correlated perfectly with the neuropathologic changes of the disease mentioned in the literature. The condition must be added to the list of hypodense white matter lesions. It is concluded that association of periventricular hypodensity with abnormally low attenuation values of the corpus callosum and the posterior limb of the internal capsule probably represent a specific CT-finding of nonketotic hyperglycinemia.
