Abstract

To find wide applications of plasmonic nanostructures, the composite materials are preferred to the pure noble metals. To get the composites with the controllable behaviors, the combinations of the semi-metals and the noble metals are the interesting choices, because the semi-metals have the properties more like the noble metals and can be tuned by the compositions. The mental Ag and semi-mental TiS2 are co-sputtered on the two-dimensional polystyrene (PS) templates to form the curved single-layer TiS2-Ag nanostructures, for which the compositions can be tuned by the sputtering power for TiS2. The content of TiS2can regulate the LSPR shifts from visible region to NIR region. When the sputtering power of TiS2 is 120 W for the TiS2-Ag nanostructures, the enhancement factor can reach 109.
