Abstract

Abstract The transfer function is an important method in ISO/TS 10974 used to evaluate the safety of active implantable medical devices (AIMD). To measure the transfer function, there are two methods used during research and testing, which are the piecewise excitation method and the reciprocity method. In theory, they are equivalent. And for measurement, they have their own advantages and disadvantages. Simulations and experiments using both methods were performed and it is proved that they have good agreement in simulations and experiments.
