Abstract

Two models of nonlocal heat flux in laser-driven plasmas have been presented by Luciani and Mora, and by Albritton et al. The disagreement between them is shown to be only apparent: when used in exactly the same conditions, they actually give the same answer, provided that the correct tabulated propagator is used in the integral giving the flux. A steepening of the temperature profile at critical density still exists for both models.
