Abstract

1. New antioxidant additives are proposed for use in synthetic ester oils. 2. Feasibility has been demonstrated for the use of isothermal thermogravimetric analysis in obtaining a comparative rating of the antioxidant properties of additives. 3. It has been established that the proposed additives should be used in amounts of 0.5 to 1.0% by weight for the inhibition of oxidation processes in synthetic ester oils.
