Abstract

When Brian had his annual health screening at Smith's Pharmacy with Christine Gundersen, PharmD, he was shocked that he'd passed every single measure by the thinnest of margins possible. Measures such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and weight are coded green, yellow, or red. Green means the patient is at or below the National Institutes of Health goal. Yellow is passing but needs improvement. Red means the patient has failed the measure. Brian's scores were yellow across the board but required repeat testing to not be in the red.
